You're welcome Sadie! You're welcome BeatleBob!
Here is a sweet song dedicated to the Beatles' girls :)
Every Little Thing
Paul wrote this with John adding to it in Atlantic City, around late August to September 1964, during their short rest period after their first American tour, and was later improved upon. This song features a good example of John and Paul singing together in unison.
“ When I'm with her I'm happy,
Just to know that she loves me...
Yes, I know that she loves me now ”
I love how the collection of photographs in this video shows happier times of the boys with their wives and girlfriends at the time! :)
“ There is one thing I'm sure of,
I will love her forever.
For I know love will never die. ”
If you think about it, it's sad to see what became of the short-lived relationships. :(
Jane broke up with Paul after their engagement, Cynthia lost John to Yoko,
Maureen and Ringo didn't last, and neither did Pattie and George.
These relationships ended because of infidelity: cheating spouses and unfaithfulness.
Annalina, Thanks so much for posting this!! I haven't listened to this song in a long time. It's a Great Song!! Not only it's a sweet song dedicated to the Beatles' Girls, I Loved listening to John and Paul singing together in unison!! GREAT!! :-)
The Lyrics are Great and I also agree with you, how the collection of photographs in this video shows happier times of the boys with their wives and girlfriends at the time!!! :-)
It IS Sad to see what became of the short-lived relationships!! And the reasons Why the relationships ended!! :-(
