I'm so glad! :D

I currently don't have cable TV, so I sadly missed that ABC TV special on February 9. If anyone here has an online link to it, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks! And if not, if anyone saw it, could you at least tell me how it was? I bet it was great! I was glad to catch some video clips from the Grammys on YouTube. :-)

Has anyone here ever watched a game show called "Cash Cab"? They've had a couple Beatles questions before, and I remember one day there were multiple people in the car and NONE of them knew the answer (and it was an easy Beatles question too! A casual fan should be able to answer that!) So they pulled over to the side of the road and asked a random person on the street if they knew it. Not only did they not know the answer either, but they said these horrible words... "I don't know because I don't like The Beatles". It was like adding insult to injury! I was disgusted, and thought "Isn't it a pity? Isn't it a shame? Some people (non Beatles fans) make me sick!" LOL!

We should make our own Beatles style version of "Cash Cab". And call it "A Ticket To Ride in a Newspaper Taxi"! LOL Since all of the questions are Beatles related, it would be an even more fun (and easier) way to win money!

"Baby You're A Rich Man" ! :-)

Thanks again BeatleNut9!! I'm Sure You watched it again too!!  :-)

Sadie, I was looking for a link yesterday to the Full CBS Special. Sadly, I couldn't find any! :-( Could only find small clips. I'm Sure some time down the road it will be available somewhere.

The Show was Awesome. The only thing I hated about it that there was SO MANY Commercials during the whole show!! You'd think CBS would show limited commercials because of this event!! But, not the case!! :-(( There were a lot of performers doing their personal take performing some Beatles songs. They were Good. They kept panning over to Paul, Ringo, Nancy, Barbara, Yoko, and Sean Lennon during the performances and They were Enjoying it and getting into it! They showed short clips for each Beatle from their childhood till the Sullivan show. And they had David Letterman showing Paul and Ringo his studio in the same Studio 50 as the Sullivan show was at. Paul and Ringo were commenting about the time they appeared there. Finally towards the end Ringo came out with a back up band and sang a couple of songs. Yoko was Dancing around to one of Ringo's songs in the audience. I thought that was Cool! Then Paul came out with his band and sang some tunes. Then Paul and Ringo sang a few tunes Together. That was GREAT!!! That was the Best Part for me!! They had photos etc of The Beatles in the Background while they were performing. That was My short explanation of the show. I Really Enjoyed it!! I Hope some time soon there will be the Full Version online of the show for you to see!!

I never heard of Cash Cab. I'm sure those people who gave those Horrible answers made you Sick!!! :-(( Sounds like a Cool idea for making our own Beatles Style Cash Cab!! ;-)

Thank you very much for explaining it to me, Beatlebob! Wow!!! That sounds awesome! And I can imagine Paul & Ringo performing together was hands down, the highlight of the special show! LOL, Cash Cab is just some stupid game show on the Discovery channel. I believe it was cancelled (good! LOL I don't have cable TV anymore so I don't know) I would love to do a Beatles version of that game but copyright laws most likely wouldn't allow... we could play it here on this site virtually though sometime in the chatroom! That would be fun! :-)

Have a nice day! :-)

Sadie, You're So Welcome!! I forgot to mention that Olivia Harrison was there too. And that Dhani Harrison performed "Something" along with Joe Walsh from the Eagles and Jeff Lynne from E.L.O. Was Great!! Yes, Paul and Ringo performing together was surely the Highlight of the Special!!!

Thanks for letting me know about Cash Cab!! Sounds like that show wasn't one of your favorites!! LMAO!!!!! ;-) It would be a nice idea to play a Beatles Version right Here in the chatroom!! That would be Cool!! :-) Thanks!! Hope you are having a FAB Weekend!! :-)

Some Clips for now:
