I'm curious to hear what everyone has to say about Paul last night with Kanye & Rhianna...

I was disgusted! I don't like Rhianna and Kanye West and don't like how Paul's been with them lately. They're unworthy, IMO. LOL. But I enjoy seeing him anytime, even under those gross circumstances! Does anyone else remember when Paul sang with Jay-Z and Linkin Park? I remember watching that on TV when it happened and getting angry at Jay-Z wearing a John Lennon T-shirt. I believe it was at the Grammys and I think it was in like 2005 or 2006 or something?

Anyways, about last night, I loved when Paul did a little dance during Electric Light Orchestra's performance. Then upon realizing the cameras were on him, sat back down, embarrassed. LOL! E.L.O. & AC/DC were great too. It was refreshing to see some classic rock acts for once.
It was also nice to see the usual crappy contemporary mainstream music (like Beyonce, etc) didn't win best song, artist, and album this year.
The cameras showed Paul in the audience often and he appeared to be enjoying the ceremony. I love seeing him happy! Eventhough I don't agree with his latest collaboration endeavors, as long as HE'S happy, that's all that really matters. :-)

I Actually Missed seeing it!!! :-( I don't usually watch CBS so I didn't know it was on!!! :-( I'll have to watch some of the highlights on YouTube!!

The only thing I can figure about why he's "slumming it" with these people is because he enjoys the producing aspect of it...but maybe not the performing because he didn't seem very comfortable or happy. I do like that people who like the others will be exposed to someone amazing...except Paul's microphone seems to have been off! Erg! I was torn like you...happy to see him, glad people will be exposed to him, & embarrassed that he's involved with stuff so below him.
