TODAY IS THE 9TH OF OCTOBER! Happy Happy Birthday To John Lennon!

My mom and I celebrated a bit last night. Her fave Beatle is John. She played 'All You Need is Love' ... And today, I feel like getting a cupcake with green sprinkles on it. Here is a photo I took of the Imagine mosaic on September 21, which is also known as International Peace Day.

I Love the Cute Animation you made BeatleGirl!! :-D And Thank You for posting the Picture of the Imagine Mosaic, So Pretty! So Nice that your Mom and You celebrated a bit last night. And Cool that your Mom's Fave Beatle is John. :-)

I always went through different phases through the years of who was my Fave Beatle. But, now that I look at it my Fave Beatles were John and Paul equally. Although they were different in many ways. For John, I always loved his wit, his off beat sense of humor. He always Looked So Cool! He could do Great ballads and good old gritty Rock & Roll! I Loved His anti-war stance, messages of Peace and Love and understanding...still lives on to this day! Thank You John! For All your Amazing Music and just for the Wonderful Person you were!! Happy Birthday John!!! :-D

BeatleBob, That's FAB you have 2 favorite Beatles! Sadie has 4 fave Beatles, and we know who BN9 loves! For me, it has always been Paul. I also love John, George, and Ringo, obviously for unique reasons. I think I could connect with John more as a person. He just really really had this view of humanity that spoke volumes through his songs and through the interviews he'd given. The messages he was sending about Peace and Love--that is what everyone in this world should be going on about. The Beatles were just that. Peace and Love!

I second that: Thank you JOHN for the amazing music and what an wonderful human being you were while living on this Earth, even with flaws and all... What an inspiration and a reason for me to continue living life in peace. Happy Birthday!

I went through phases of George and Ringo being my Favs too. But, overall through the years and now John & Paul are Equally my Favs! :-) I Agree with Everything you said about John!! I see why you could connect with John more as a person! :-)

That's a Cool animation BeatleGirl!! Great!! :-))  I Like how John elongates singing "awayyy" too, in Ticket To Ride!! :-)) I also, like how John sings "Away" in the "Hide Your Love Away : Anthology version" @ 1:30 like Buddy Holly, and after that elongates "Away" a bit too  :-)
