ROCKOLLECTIONS: FINGER SNAPPING PT.5

SEXY SADIE IS IN HERE & OUT THERE, LOL!

A Trip To Finger Snapping Central- Motown, at Mike Pell Rockollections:

What a year- this 2020 deserves an ASS-TERISK!
I'll try to help you escape it with more Finger Snapping Songs.
Starting with one by the Beatles I always thought had at least one Finger Snap- I actually think more than one- but I can't prove it.
The Snap is about 4 or 5 seconds into the song, see what you hear and think!
Finger Snapping doesn't get much Respect, even though it adds much to Our Music.
It's hardly ever listed as an Instrument, and can get lost in Hand Clapping- plus adding to the confusion are Drummers Hitting Their Drumsticks!
After the Beatles a couple of Definites, and that you definitely will know!
Then a trip to Finger Snapping Central, at Motown!
Give a listen, I am actually playing Hits, lol!

Hey Mike! Thanks for the comment. It's great to finally hear from you again too!

You always do such a good job with "Rockollections". I've kept up with nearly every episode throughout the years and always follow the emails I often get from both from your mailing list and Podomatic about it. Yes your show really stands out from the rest! The music selections, episode themes, and your great hosting really make it amazing and unique! I really enjoyed the Elvis themed one for his birthday celebration. Part 3 was so cool! Thanks for including Rick Nelson. The Beatles are obviously my favorite band but as for solo artists, Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson are my favorites. I call them "The King and Prince of Rock N Roll" lol!

I wonder whatever happened to BeatleBob too! Sadly I have not heard from him in over a year and also get no reply when I try writing him. Yes, he was a nice guy! It's sad to see how empty this place has become, but at least it's still around. I haven't been here in a while but felt like stopping by to see if anyone mentioned Paul McCartney's new album and Ringo Starr's new song or the recent death of Gerry from the Pacemakers and Phil Spector.  It's crazy out there these days with the virus, riots, and madness. Thanks for keeping and spreading some joy with your podcast! I will try my best to keep in touch more often. Have a nice day, my friend!

    Thanks Sadie, Merry Christmas!

And so good to hear from you!

Glad you still listen, you are as good as Gold, and a solid one!

It IS a shame this place is so inactive with the new series on Disney about the Beatles!

    Happy New Year Sweetie!
