Interesting! I love learning about all the instruments The Beatles played! It's hard enough for me to play at an advance skill on the piano, but boy! Learning a whole new set of instruments would just get my head in a dilly! LMAO!!! Thanks for posting all those keyboard photos... They look extremely cool! :O

Rare Photo!! Looks like a joint in Paul's mouth. LOL! WOW!! Reading your comments you both are like Beatles Encyclopedias!! I learn so much about the Lads from you guys!!  :-))

It had been the fashion in the sixties organ design to reverse the piano keyboard color scheme. The black notes are white and the white notes are black. Probably a custom made keyboard here. Vox and Korg made them and some others.  ;-)

Anyone know what kind of piano Paul is playing here? The bottom keys seem to be all black, while the upper keys are all white! I just love how he's able to balance that cig with his mouth lol

Actually, this was taken in March of 1963 at De Montfort Hall in Leicester during one of their UK tours.

Yeah I know. Paul moved in to live with Jane at her parents' house at 57 Wimpole Street in London up til 1966, and that's where Paul wrote songs like Yesterday and I'm Looking Through You.

Another fun pot fact that every Beatles fan should know! Before they met, Bob Dylan thought they were saying "I get high" instead of I can't hiiiiiiide, so when he found out they never tried pot before, he introduced it to them! Who would have known that they were going to be writing about actually getting high for years to come?!

Then again, George recalled that in 1960 a drummer in Liverpool was the first to introduce marijuana to them, but it had little effect on them. It was in August of 1964 when The Beatles first got high in their suite in Delmonico Hotel in Forest Hills, NY. Bob be passing the good pot around!

Yeah, he was probably just messing around... but he looks thoughtful, so I assumed he was probably composing something... and this picture looks like it was taken around 1964/1965, so if he was writing something, it was probably off A Hard Day's Night or Help album.

John & Paul wrote I Wanna Hold Your Hand on a piano in Jane Asher's house ;-)
