I didn't understand that joke either and I speak English. LOL! It was shocking to see and hear Paul say the F word in that video. While talking about a goat? Can anyone explain that to me? I still don't get it. LOL

I guess there are some people talking about it in the same link. Maybe they explain it. I loved his expression and the way he tells the story, the way  he says..noooo.

Virginia Abreu de Paula...Thanks for the Link!!! LOL!!!  :-)

I didn't understand the joke at first. But, one of the comments there explains it well:

"The bartender says that he built the fence, but no one calls him Jones the fence maker. He built the bar itself, but no one calls him Jones the bar maker. He served the bear very well, but no one calls him Jones the Guiness puller. But then he says, "but you F**k one goat..." meaning everyone calls him Jones the Goat F**ker.  XD"

LOL!!!! ;-)

beatlebob, thank you for taking your time to write everything. I had an idea it was exactly what you said thanks to Paul's expression, and also because it made quite clear it was only one goat. then...silence. We had to finish ourselves.

I was not sure and I had not  undertood  some words...Guinner puller for instance...Now I know. Wow, thank you again.

LOL, I understand it now! Weird joke! But thanks for explaining it, Beatlebob! Virginia, I like the way Paul said "nooo" too, with a fake accent! :-D

Virginia Abreu de Paula, You're So Welcome!  :-) I'm Glad it made it more clear for you! :-)

Yes, "Only One Goat". LOL!! Then silence. ;-) I guess the whole point of the Joke was about A person does So MANY Things Very Well. But Once, he did ONE Very Weird Thing! And that person is ONLY Known for That! "Everyone calls him Jones the Goat F**ker."   ;-)

Sadie, You're Welcome Sadie!  :-) Yes, a Weird Joke!! LOL! The kind of jokes some people in England, Scotland, and Ireland tell in pubs etc. That kind of sense of humor in the U.K.  ;-) I like the way Paul said "nooo" too, with a Scottish like accent!  :-)

Also here in Brazil we have this kind of jokes. At least where I live. Although it's weird there is a lesson to learn here. We  should not  judge nobody for a single mistake. :) I have some strange feelings not everybody believes. Things that comes to my mind our of nowhere. One is...lots of people in my city is Irish. LOL. They don't know they are but ...they are. Their sould came from Ireland. Me included. I do believe in live several lives, though I accept easily people don't believe. The thing is I remember some of my past lives. LOL. In my past life I was born in Russia, Saint Peterburg. I lived there only for six years and moved to France, Strasburgh. My second husband ( I am skipping details, sure) was English, so I moved to London...but in 43 I lived in Liverpool. I am investigating if I met some of our guys' parents while there. LOL. Anyway, in another life before I lived in Ireland.  My bother had the same feeling. He kept on listening to celtic songs. I feel most of our country people are in fact Irish. They have a kind of dance called Lundu which is very similar to Riverdance. Their Folia songs are so much like Irish songs. And they are the ones who like to tell jokes like this one. Of course it may be only a fantasy...but it's a lovely fantasy. :)

Virginia Abreu de Paula, YES, I Agree! "Although it's weird there is a lesson to learn here. We  should not  judge nobody for a single mistake!!"

I Do have Celtic roots, my Father's Grandparents came from Ireland. :-)

I Enjoyed reading your fantasy! And Yes, it's a lovely fantasy.  :-)

Nice to see the new picture for Halloween...We don't have it here in Brazil. But I know how it's celebrated in other countries. The picture is adorable. So BeatleBob has celtic roots...And not only in his imagination. LOL Real celtic roots. Great.

Virginia Abreu de Paula:  Glad you like the Halloween picture!  :-)

Yes, Real Celtic Roots and not only in my imagination!  LOL!!  :-)

How could I not have heard this before? I was wondering how my musical box playlist got on a Beatles & Solo radio! Nope, it was just versatile, really-talented-bloke-from-Liverpool-Paul.

"Now, an unreleased song from the documentary sessions, the sweet, almost lullaby-like “Love My Baby,”“Love My Baby” is just a teaser from the McCartney archives, which have been opened in a huge way for the newly remastered re-issues of 1975’s Venus and Mars and 1976’s Wings At The Speed Of Sound."

Question: What are your personal favourite lyrics you've ever written?

Paul: "There’s some nice things about doing the live show now. I kind of run through the lyrics - in my mind - to sing them. So ‘Eleanor Rigby’ is nice, 'Wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by the door'. I sort of think, 'Pretty good work for a 23 year old boy!' Something like that I think, 'Yeah, that’s really nice’. So I like that.

"Currently I’m liking ‘Another Day’. It’s just very sort of regular life of this girl. [Sings verse 'Everyday she takes her morning bath'.] It’s just all what a girl might do: 'Wraps a towel around her as she’s heading for the bedroom chair'. And then she goes to the office, has a coffee, finds it hard to stay awake, and it all just seems to ring true to me. But it’s just another day.

"So yeah, I’d single those two out as ones that I like."
