Can You Play Beatles Songs On Piano or Guitar?

I used to know how to play Hey Jude on keyboard too, but forgot now. The only instrument I know is piano, I've tried guitar and other stuff but it's just not as easy as piano for me.

:) I think it's amazing people like Paul can play so many different musical instruments! and sing! Beatle Girl & I can't sing. hahaha.

It's been a while since I picked up the guitar, but the 1st song I ever learned was "In My Life" and the last one I learned was "Wanderlust," I think! :]

I bought my first (and only) guitar when I was 14 because of The Beatles!

I think the first Beatles song I tried to learn on it was "This Boy"...? I ordered a Beatles music sheet from eBay and tried to learn a few songs on there. I can play 'Blackbird' 90% perfectly. I know a bit of 'Dear Prudence' and some George riffs. ;-)

My keyboard has "Let It Be" as one of the songs you can learn on it because they keys light up for it lol.

Last night I tried to learn the bassline for "Hey Bulldog" by ear, and for some reason, it's really hard for me to learn any John songs for his birthday :-( like "Imagine" and "Jealous Guy" but I do try! YouTube has some helpful tutorials.

I like playing a lot of Beatles songs with easy chords.

Maybe I will share tabs & chords here sometime.

Perhaps I can make an amateur tutorial on YouTube! Hahaha.

There is an app for iPhone users that gives chords to each Beatles song, but you need an iPhone & to buy the app!

 

Does anyone have this, and how well does it work for you? I don't have an iPhone, but maybe in 5 years I can save for one.
