Do you think you'd ever like being a Beatles' child?

I wonder how it is to feel like being in their shoes...

Paul has 4 children: Mary, Stella, James, and Beatrice

Ringo has 3 children: Zak, Jason, and Lee

John has 2 children: Julian and Sean

George has 1 child: Dhani

Note that Paul adopted Heather [Eastman], Linda's daughter from a previous marriage. And that each Beatle might have illegitimate children that we don't know about somewhere!

I've often wondered how it would be to be a Beatle's friend or even just an acquaintance, but in the back of my mind, I've also had wondered about being a Beatle's daughter. I think it's both a blessing and a curse, however cliche that term might sound, but it's true... To have your own father been in this band that's almost as popular as ... televisions, and there you are, the offspring of your mother and father.

You've got money, you've got "fame", and you've got the burden of being "that Beatles child".

Just having either Beatle's last name can spark interest in others towards you.

This is kind of a tough subject for me to talk about because I don't know how it is to be a famous person's child, or how it is to have riches and automatic fame, so I really can't form a solid opinion on this.

I just feel sorry sometimes that people only view them as someone's child, until they've proven to others that there's more to them than that. I like the idea of being able to just throw your last name around, and you're automatically proven.

I watched this documentary of Rich Kids, children who were born into riches and fame, and what I grasped was that it's so lonely being there with only others who have the same income as you, and sticking with others who also know what it feels like to be "the odd one out".

Some of these people, I believe, have created a big ego for themselves, that anyone else is a second-class citizen.

I am not saying that about the Beatles' Children, but maybe at some point they have felt that way. I think it's really hard to handle being in the shadows of your own father...

I do like the popularity boost, though, because they certainly helps them with their careers. What d'yall think?

I'd freakin go ballistic if I were a Beatles child for one day. :D I'd go thru all my dad's stuff and mingle with the rich kids! lmao

Dhani is getting a divorce!

Yeah you were surprised when I first told you that!

They were only together for like 4 years. But "All Things Must Pass"...

I didn't know that. I'm Sorry to hear Dhani is getting a divorce!
But, like Sadie said, "All Things Must Pass"...

Happy Birthday Dhani Harrison! August 1, 1978. I heard his version of "For You Blue" on the SiriusXM station this morning and honestly thought it was an outtake of George singing!! He really sounds like him.

Did you know...

Dhani Harrison, son of the late George Harrison, will release his first-ever solo album this fall.

Awesome! I still need to check out his music with the band called thenewno2. I'm not that familiar with Beatles children music, to be honest. I just know some of Julian's stuff. I did recently hear an awesome new song from Sean Lennon called "Tomorrow Never Came". Both him and Julian sound alot like John too! :-)

Hey Sadie! I forgot about his Birthday.
"Dhani Harrison, the son of George Harrison, has announced his debut solo album. IN///PARALLEL is out October 6 via BMG." Loved listening to "All About Waiting"!! GREAT!!! :-)
"For You Blue" Dhani Harrison. WOW He sounds just like George!!!!!! You're Right, Sadie!! Looks and Sounds just like George!! :-) Dhani wasn't born, he was cloned. LOL! GREAT!!!! I also, just know some of Julian's stuff!! I'll have to check out the new song from Sean Lennon called "Tomorrow Never Came"!! :-) Thanks for posting this, Sadie!!  :-) A few Videos:

Wow! That's amazing! I can't believe how reminiscent he is of George Harrison! I never even heard of "George Fest"? Just "Concert For George". Now I've got a new DVD/CD to add to my Wish List. Thanks Beatlebob! :-)

WOW Indeed!!! :-) Sure Is Amazing!! I've never heard of "George Fest" until I found those bottom two videos. I have "Concert For George" on DVD.

George Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of George Harrison. Recorded and filmed on September 28th, 2014 at the The Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. Produced by Dhani Harrison and David Zonshine, Harrison stated, 'I've always imagined a small club show where my generation of musicians could cut loose on some of the deeper tracks from his career... So, in a totally new and vibrant way, I once again found myself taking the stage with some of my most treasured musical heroes to the sound of the most familiar music in my life... I hope you enjoy listening to these as much as I do. They are some of the best interpretations of my father s songs I could have ever thought possible.'

Glad you got a new DVD/CD to add to your Wish List! Me Too!!! :-) You're Very Welcome, Sadie!! :-)
