This may be the earliest footage of John, Paul, George, (w/ Pete Best, who can't be seen.)

I think I've seen a piece of this before, but I'm not sure I've seen the whole thing! Maybe it was even just a picture...

In the UK The Beatles first appeared on a regional TV show in Manchester, People and Places, on 17 October 1962; they sang "Love Me Do" and "Ooh! My Soul".

I wish I could see a video of that too, or at least photos, if it was in '62, Pete Best must've been with them there also.

 

Their first American television appearance was on The Ed Sullivan Show, of course.
