Beatles are in here!More Sound Effects In Song, and a surprise for me.
I went to play a Song from an album cut I KNEW had Sound Effects on it, but they weren’t in there.
I dug out the single, played it, and there they were!
Odd, they were on the mono single but not the stereo album track- but stranger things have happened.
Among the Sound Effects in this Episode, The Radio, Rides, A Match, Dogs, A Train.
It’s an enjoyable outing, with one more Chapter to go to the Finale!

I Was Dreaming Of A White Birthday, and got it, lol!
Nice that I happened to play a few of your favorites in here.
I think people forget that end to Caroline No, and you're right, My World Fell Down is a forgotten gem.
Thanks for listening and writing,
Mike

...and Happy Birthday Mike! Hope you are doing alright! Haven't heard from you or Beatlebob in a while. Best Wishes.
Hey Mike, loving your show like always! The sound effects episode was a unique theme with several good examples. "Palisades Park" and "Caroline, No" were always favorites of mine. I also love that song "My World Fell Down". Sadly, it hardly gets any airplay, even on Oldies based stations or programs. A forgotten gem for sure!
Bob,
I am taking long too, we are busy, lol!
Hey I guessed the ones you didn’t know- a meeting of the minds, lol!
Sound Effects was fun to do.
Mike

Bob,
Again your wonderful research on My World Fell Down.
I knew of the Beach Boys connection but was short on time...or tired...which is far more important, LOL!
And again nice going, you knew the photo was of Palisades Park!
I am thinking, maybe 2 songs you didn’t know
Springsteen & S & G?
You always surprise me, lol!
Glad you enjoyed it, a load of Sound Effects in this Episode.
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
Mike,
Glenn Campbell was doing the lead vocal on "My World Fell Down". WOW!!
I found this:
"The lead vocal is handled by Glen Campbell (yes, that Glen Campbell) with Bruce Johnson as one of the backing vocalist, both worked Beach Boy recording sessions. Glen then Bruce replaced Brian Wilson in the touring band. Project Initiator, project head and producer Gray Usher actually was friendly with Brian Wilson and co-wrote some of the early Beach Boy hits."
Palisades Park, Like the Photo you used! Written by Chuck Barris and recorded by Freddy Cannon.
Bruce Springsteen - Tunnel of Love, was Great!!
Bookends Simon and Garfunkel, Interesting effect at the beginning.
Beach Boys, Brian's two Dogs and a passing train!
I Am The Walrus
King Lear by William Shakespeare
Cool that you dug out the mono single and found that!!
Yes, so many sound effects on that song that's unidentifiable!!! :-)
I Love That Song!!!!
I Really Enjoyed This!!!
So Many Sound Effects in Each Song!!
Bob
