All in all Bob, you did excellent!
Saigon Bride by Baez was a tough one, so was the Phil Ochs.
Nice job,
Mike
Mike,
You're Welcome, I sure Enjoyed it!!
I knew almost ALL of the songs from THE 60'S POETS- WAR AND PEACE!! :-)
Part 1:
I remembered the songs by Richie Havens, Bob Dylan, and Peter Paul & Mary, of course!
I didn't remember the one by Joan Baez.
Tom Paxton!! I Know you like to play his songs! :-)
I remember both of those songs by him!
I didn't remember the one by Donovan, though.
Part 2:
I did remember the original one by Buffy St. Marie and remember the cover that Donovan did!
The Doors!! I sure remembered that one!!
Sure remembered the one by Eric Burdon and the Animals!
Bob Dylan, a Great one that I remember!!
Didn't remember the song by Phil Ochs.
The Kingston Trio song I Sure Remember!!!!!
Anti-War Songs, I Sure Remember Well from those days!!!
Yes, the Words from the 60's Poets, their Thoughts and Stories About War And Peace!!
I Enjoyed Both Parts!! Those songs brought back a lot of memories! And I knew most of the songs you played! :-)
I'm old fashioned and still say Merry Christmas too!! But, sometimes I say Happy Holidays to cover the upcoming Holidays. ;-)
I see you came back later for Thanksgiving!
I listened to Thanksgiving Dinner Part 1, and I Really Enjoyed That One Too!!

Sadie,
No better person to spend the weekend with than me, LOL!
Yes, this show started out happy and then the wind blew me into serious.
But I love that, even I don’t know where the show will take me when I sit down.
Now THE 60'S POETS- WAR AND PEACE was intended to be serious.
Happy Holidays, but I am old fashioned and still say Merry Christmas, lol!
And I have a feeling we’ll speak again.
Thanks for the kind words, you’re a sweetheart.
