Stu Sutcliffe, a gorgeous, talented artist, who passed away too soon at the age of 21.

June 23, 1940 - April 10, 1962

Discuss the man who was with The Beatles for a brief time, and pursued his interest in art instead!

Stu's basswork can be heard on 3 Beatles tracks on Anthology 1, on You'll Be Mine, Cayenne, and Hallelujah, I Love Her So.

Thank you Stuart, for your wonderful art that you left behind, and being a very important part of John's life. ♥ Your friendship meant a lot to him. & thanks for letting Paul play [your] bass.

I wanna see it again too! :] It's on YouTube! I first saw it like 2 years ago. :D

A graphic novel which tells the story of Stu & Astrid's love story.

+ USA Today Article: Graphic novel tells the tragic love story of 'fifth Beatle' +

I recently read that Stu was only 5'4"! I could have been taller than a Beatle, LOL!

You now what? I believe that! He always stands short next to the other Beatles...

Aww, a bestie moment between the two... staring adoringly into each other's eyes!

The Beatle Boots create that taller illusion. Man, I thought he was a typical 5'11" I'd be taller than him then o.o He is also shown in the background in photos, or sitting down, to keep his height less noticeable. I bet Sadie is happy with this. She is attracted to short, British men! LOL!

Stuart Sutcliffe in color...

Aha! Just what I was looking for. Are there any more surviving photos of Stu in color? He's just really an amazing art figure himself... Wonderful! I love the shots - so artistically taken!

Yummy...he is indeed a work of art himself! ;]

"I bet Sadie is happy with this. She is attracted to short, British men! LOL!"

You forgot to say DEAD, short, British men ;-)  LOL!

Astrid was a lucky mother trucker! hahaha

Lol! Not to be rude or anything, but the bass kind of is um not that good you know? Kind of strummed badly and off tune! LMAO! I guess thats why he picked painting instead!

Yeah, Stu was a better artist than musician, John knew this but still wanted him in the band anyway because he was his best friend. :]
