Paul and his team created this collage of unpublished Wings photos along to the song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reggae" :D Funny, I was just listening to reggae yesterday!!!

"Merry Christmas from Paul and http://www.PaulMcCartney.com

To celebrate, this year we have dug through the Wings archive and found some previously unpublished photos of the band. We then set them to the recording of ‘Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reggae’.

Wings’ version of ‘Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer’ was recorded in May 1975 at Abbey Road then released as the b-side of ‘Wonderful Christmastime’. It also featured as a bonus track on the 1993 remaster of 'Back To The Egg'.

By the time the track was released as a b-side, the Wings line-up had changed to include Laurence Juber on guitar and Steve Holly on drums."

Thanks So Much for this Video BeatleGirl!!!! I never seen this and never seen those Pics too!! GREAT!! :-) "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reggae" LOL!!  :-D

Merry Christmas BeatleGirl!!  :-)

Nice photos. But, to my ears, it doesn't sound like reggae. :)

Yes, Nice Photos!! It just has a Slight Reggae touch to the song. ;-)

News about Paul doing a collab with Kanye...

"For any of you guys who were wondering what I was doing with Kanye... Here it is: http://mpl.pm/kanye_feat_PMc Happy rocking new year!" Full Post Here

Paul, I believe, composed and played the tune on keyboard.

Kanye is on vocals, although auto-tuned, sings about his mother.

"CURIOUS FACT: "Kanye" is actually swahili, and it means "only one"

Initial thoughts:

I like the song! While it isn't overdone like I had expected it to be, the auto-tune ruins the mood of the song. Kanye sings about his mother, with Paul's simple, yet effective keyboard playing in the background. There are elements of nature, god, a relationship between mother and son.

Emma Lacey-Bordeaux from CNN Entertainment says:

Leave it to Kanye. The hip-hop mega star may have had the last word of 2014.

In the waning hours of the year, he released a new song that's sure to get folks talking. Just not for the reasons we've come to expect from Kanye West.

In place of his usual bombast, "Only One" boasts a spare arrangement. In it, an AutoTuned Kanye tenderly sings from the perspective of his late mother as she looks down from the heavens and addresses him.

"Hello my only one, just like the morning sun/ You'll keep on rising till the sky knows your name," the song's chorus goes.

In it, the mother says she talked to God who sent down angels for Kanye.

"You asked for one and you got two" -- a reference to his wife, Kim Kardashian, and their daughter, North.

The song ends with the refrain, "Tell Nori about me."

Nori is North's nickname.

Oh, did we mention, the single also features Paul McCartney.

JP Walrus says: Paul and Kanye better than paul and john :|

Thanks for this BeatleGirl!!! I was wondering what Paul was doing with Kanye?

I liked the song too!! And it wasn't overdone like I thought it might be! I'm not a fan of auto-tune as well. That effect makes the vocals sound robotic. But, the song was nice otherwise.  ;-)

And WHAT The Hell??? "Oh, did we mention, the single also features Paul McCartney." :-((( LOL!

And WUT??? "JP Walrus says: Paul and Kanye better than paul and john :|"
LMAO!!!!

Thanks So Much for posting this BeatleGirl!!! :-)

I have to disagree. Nothing better than Paul and John.  i have never heard of  Kanye before and this is the first time I listen to him. So I can't say much. I  read some are disappointed because it's not rap. Also the arrangment is weak.  As I don't know how he used to sing before and how he used to arrange his songs, I can't say anything.  I liked the melody and I liked his voice, really. Maybe because I lost my mother last year and miss her terribly. Paul is playing keyboards. I confess I agree it's sort of weak, lacking something. But it's possibly that is how Kanye wanted in order not to be better than his part. All I can say is it was not necessary to be Paul. Any keyboard player would do that. Unless Paul helped composing...Then it would be different. Do you happen to know if he did it?

Of course I obviously disagree with JP too, although I'm pretty sure he was just kidding... :-)

It's not as bad as I expected it to be, but I still can't say that I liked it. It was ok.

I also think it would've sounded better to say Paul McCartney (featuring Kanye West) too.

Thanks for posting!

P.S. Virginia, consider yourself lucky that you've never heard of Kanye West and Katy Perry. lol!

I appreciate anything new Paul puts out. Let's hope for many more Macca material in 2015!

I'm not sure if the only thing Paul had part in the song was playing the keyboard. He could have just used a pseudonym like "Paulster" or Paul McKanye, and be done wid it, but I think Paul wants a part in a rap song!!! LOL I can't imagine Paul being a rap god :o

It would be Paul McCartney rapping (ft. Kanye West backing him up). Funny how Katy Perry & Kanye worked together on that song "E.T.", and Katy ended up mocking him on stage at the VMAs when they won a moonman. I guess Paul didn't read up that his friend 'YE wears tons of fur and interrupts people whenever he feels like it.

"Only One" couldn't be the ONLY one song they could have "worked on" all this time, so they probably collabed on more stuff, too. He started off 2015 with that surprise, so I think there will be lots more to come.

Paul is a music aficionado! He likes anything from electronica, rap, hip hop, reggae, classical, ragtime, and more! So if there are any more Macca Material in 2015, I hope he gets back to his style from 60s and 70s, and less of his ventures in genres that the majority of his fans really don't care for. But who knows? Paul can do what ever he pleases as long as people spend $$$ on his tours. lol

People are pissed that Paul collabed with Kanye. But here is one person who loved the song.

JP: I loved it. It is the anthem of our generation. The two greatest artists in the world... 2ND is paul of course. Paul must of felt honored to play with Sir Kayne He is so amazing he needs 1000 names
