Again, it's that strange time between the deaths of George Harrison, November 29, 2001 and John Lennon, December 8, 1980- two former Beatles.
Without The Beatles, I don’t love Music like I do- simple as that!
So the loss of any of the Fab Four will always be personal.
Doing these shows, I try to bring…

I'll finish the album, With The Beatles, right away.
I still can't get over the fact that album was released on the day President Kennedy was assassinated!
Then I'll move on to what was the cause of much confusion and many differences over here in the U.S.A.
The Beatles released singles and EP's in England with songs they never put on albums.
But they were on albums in a mishmash over here, so that's why I am using the UK releases as my guide.
For those who don't know, EP…

Here's a now-and-then series I started in February 2011, Covered By The Beatles.
As you should be aware, the Beatles put many older Rock & Roll songs, mainly from America, on their early albums and EP's.
So the simple idea is to play the Beatles Cover Version followed by the Original Version.
And I'll be playing these the proper way to hear them, in the order they originally were released over in England.
The selections in this chapter will all be from the LP, With The…

And they are in the latest show, Beatles everywhere, lol!
Much more of The 60's Poets, and their Thoughts and Stories About Loneliness.
Again I say, these Songs Read Well Written Down On Paper!
Without the Music or the Arrangements.
And again I ask you to Please Listen To The Words...The Lyrics, of the 60's Poets.
They are still touching to me.
And I am a Highly Opinionated…

A Beatle start to this one!
THIS IS AN ENCORE ORIGINALLY BROADCAST JULY 3, 2012.
When you hear me say it is America's 236th Birthday, kindly substitute 240th
Celebrating the Declaration Of Independence (my favorite document ever!)- older than me, but I'm pretty damned independent too!
I had long had this idea for an opening set…

A man we all love in this one, both Solo and with The Beatles:
Like I said last time, it caught my eye that this was Celebrate Your Name Week, a holiday established in 1997 by Jerry Hill.
A week for appreciating Names in general, and to have fun getting to know more about Names.
I will break the rules and make it for two weeks- Songs For John And Mary.
I did John songs in the first half…

December 8th, 1980 was the night John Lennon died.
There are famous appearances on WNEW-FM by John with Scott Muni and Dennis Elsas that have been talked about and written about.
But no one ever seems to mention an insightful interview of John done by Rosko at the station over the telephone before those, in 1969!
That will be the centerpiece for this closing Episode.
Rest in peace, George and John!…
