Having done that show for the 45th Anniversary of Sgt. Pepper, I have been avoiding the Beatles in this 1967 And The Summer Of Lover series.
I cannot any longer, as one of the year's highlights took place June 25, 1967, on LIVE Television.
Anyone who saw it will never forget it!
That is the centerpiece of this chapter.
And virtually all the rest of it will have some sort of a Beatle connection, while keeping within the parameter of the chosen year, 1967.
This is a good episode, with things you may not have heard or even thought of in quite some time- and again, an authentic slice of what we were listening to in that amazing year for Music.

I LOVED THIS!!!!!! I missed seeing the "All You Need Is Love" special live on TV that summer on channel 13!  :-( I Really Enjoyed Listening to it here and what you said about it!!! Very Rare portion you played!! I envy you for seeing it on June 25, 1967!! I Really Enjoyed listening to All of 1967 and Summer of Love, Part 12!!!! Fantastic!!!! Interesting facts! Enjoyed the Fudge doing the slowed down version of Eleanor Rigby. And that B Side of Dandelion by the Stones! Interesting that John & Paul did some backing vocals! Really Enjoyed Part 12 and the Whole Series!!! GREAT!!!
