Yes, A Very Good Song!
Sure knew that one by the Beach Boys! Glad you enjoyed the information about Paul playing a stick of celery, LOL!! ;-)
Of Course I knew the New Beats, Bread and Butter!!!
Thanks Mike!!
A late Happy Thanksgiving to You Too My Pal,
Bob
Bob,
Some people think we are, LOL!
Figured you’d know that opening set.
Good song eh, by The Joy Of Cooking?
You knew Vegetables by the Beach Boys, and nice research on Paul playing a stick of celery, lol!
You HAD to know the New Beats, Bread and Butter!
A late Happy Thanksgiving to you pal,
Mike
Sadie,
Yes Soundcloud gave me some trouble for playing the Beatles of all groups!
So I dropped them, but people aren’t exactly flocking to Spreaker!
Anything new takes a while!
Thanks, I liked that opening set myself- always loved the line in Cook With Honey, “Finding favor with your neighbor”!
A late Happy Thanksgiving to you,
Mike
I Agree Sadie!! Great unique song choices!! :-)
Mike,
Yes! Good thing we're not Turkeys! LOL!
Cook Of The House, with Linda singing, Paul McCartney & Wings!
Ringo "Cooking In The Kitchen Of Love"! I see John wrote that song for him. :-)
The Turtles, yes a song with an actual recipe in it! With that Special added ingredient in the Brownies!! LOL!! ;-)
I Liked The Joy Of Cooking! First time I heard this!
Vegetables by the Beach Boys. As soon as I heard the vocals I knew it was them!! I Liked That!! :-)
Loved that story about Paul!! LOL!! I found this:
" PaulMcCartney.com: Hi Paul, we’ve heard a story about you appearing on a Beach Boys song ‘playing' a stick of celery. Is that true?
Paul: Yeah, that is true, yeah! I mean it was wild and wacky days, you know, and I just went round to the studio because they invited me. I just thought it would be fun to sit there and watch them record, ‘cause I’m a big fan. And so I was there, and then it was, I think, Brian who came over and said, ‘Oh Paul, got a favour to ask: would you mind recording something?’ I thought, ‘Oh, no! But great, I could do that!' Oh God, I’m gonna be singing on a Beach Boys record or something, you know! I got a bit kind of intimidated and thought, ‘Okay, here goes nothing’. And they said, ‘Well, what we want you to do is go in there and just munch!’ …Well, I can do that! So, if you hear somebody munching celery, that’s me!
Great! LOL!!! ;-)
Sure Remember the Song by the New Beats, Bread and Butter!! :-)
I Really Enjoyed this Mike!!
Happy Thanksgiving,
Bob :-)
Hey Mike, it's good to see your shows are on Spreaker now too! Thanks for the great new Thanksgiving episode! I love how you played the Judy Collins song called "Cook With Honey", Linda McCartney's "Cook Of The House", and Ringo's "Cookin' (In The Kitchen Of Love)" and more. I never hear those songs on the radio, not even Internet radio! Great unique song choices. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
