ROCKOLLECTIONS: THANKSGIVING DINNER PT.2 END

I have precisely 32 seconds of Beatles in here, lol!

Happy Thanksgiving All!

Thanksgiving is really really close now!

And we are having fun with our Music, using it to create a Musical Thanksgiving Dinner!
It’s time for us to sit down, say Grace for all we are Thankful for , and dig into some Turkey and Side Dishes.
I know I could have played more Dishes for the Dinner proper, but I wanted to get to Dessert- and time restraints kept that at Pie.
Hey it’s only an hour show, lol!
To close, a Thank You, and a song that is becoming a staple for these Thanksgiving Shows.
I can’t help it, it’s just so beautiful, Giving Thanks For The Simple Things!
I’ll even quote some of the lyrics.
I love doing these annual shows, and I thank you for the genuine friendships we have built up over the years, and for listening to my quirky presentations.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone...for endless days!

Mike,

I remembered a few of the songs you played here. Some Good "OLDIES"!!

Songs for Turkey & Side Dishes and Dessert / Pie!

Cranberry Sauce!! ;-) Thanks for sneaking That in!!

A common belief is that John says "I Buried Paul" at the end of Strawberry Fields Forever on the Magical Mystery Tour album. In fact, he actually says "Cranberry Sauce", not once, but twice.
On the ending of Strawberry Fields on the version on the Anthology 2 album, you can clearly hear John saying "Cranberry Sauce" twice, and then "Calm Down, Ringo" to cause the track to come to a grinding halt.
This interview sound clip, John corrects the interviewer to emphatically say that he said "Cranberry Sauce" and not "I Buried Paul" on Strawberry Fields.

Certainly Remember Thank You by Led Zep!! What a GREAT Song!!!!

And a Wonderful song, The Thanksgiving Song by Mary Chapin Carpenter!! Says it all!!

I really liked it when you Quoted some of the lyrics!

Thank YOU Mike!!!! And I Thank You for becoming one of My Great Friends, over the years!!!

Hope you had a NICE Thanksgiving My Pal,
Bob
