A Friend Of The Beatles In Here, Does That Count, LOL?

Big Names Found In Songs, at Mike Pell Rockollections:

 

It’s Namedropping time again, let’s call it Vol.3.
The Dictionary Definition is, “To mention casually the names of illustrious or famous people in order to imply that one is on familiar terms with them. It is intended as a means of self-promotion.”
You'll easily know what I mean after a few songs.
Know what annoys me and maybe you too?
Those Movie Star Rock Band Wannabes!
But I have an exception, a surprisingly good song!
The Names Dropped you should know, although I did go into people like P.J. Proby who made me think of P.F. Sloan.
The fun is in the lyrics, seeing how many people you can identify- it's like a Musical Puzzle.
And this episode is so entertaining, you may even know a song or two, lol!
What can I say?- I just play what comes to mind.

Hey Mike. Thanks for yet another great show like always! 

I like Soundcloud, but they have given me problems before too, for uploading a podcast that included Beatles music in it. Even if it's just a short clip of a Beatles song! It's so frustrating! That's why I usually prefer Podomatic for uploads. I am new to Spreaker but am finding it fun too. I listen to MANY Internet podcasts and your "Rockollections" is still among one of my top favorites! :-)

At least you can still play stuff from The Beatles' friends. I agree with Beatlebob, that somewhat counts! I really enjoyed the "name dropping theme". The first tunes that came to mind when I thought of name dropping is "Life Is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me)" by Reunion (one hit wonder) and "I Dig Rock and Roll Music" by Peter, Paul, & Mary. There's several other tunes like that, so I see why you did the name dropping theme on your show a few times already. 

Do you ever play any music from David Cassidy and/or The Partridge Family? Just a friendly suggestion, I'd love to hear that in any of your future shows!
