Would you be willing to pay $15,000 for John Lennon's tooth?!?!
Apparently,
The tooth was given to the former Beatles' house keeper Dot Jarlett when she worked for him at Kenwood mansion in Surrey in the late 1960s.He told her to give it her daughter "as a souvenir" after he had pulled it out in the kitchen of the Weybridge property. The tooth will be auctioned in Stockport on 5 November.Dot's son Barry Jarlett said: "He was in the kitchen and he had this tooth which he had wrapped in a piece of paper."He said: 'Dot will you dispose of this' and then he said: 'Or, as your daughter's a Beatles fan, you can give to her as a souvenir'."It is something that we felt was very personal and my mum actually gave it to my sister who has kept it safe.
Would you buy this tooth?

All I Want is the Tooth! Just give me some tooth.
I think it's gross, but I would keep it, and re-create John from this piece of DNA. ;) Who's up for it?!
Update Nov. 7: This tooth was bought by a Canadian dentist, Michael Zuk, for $30,000 -- double the amount it was estimated to be auctioned for. He will showcase the tooth in his office and tour it in other offices and dental schools.
Says Zuk,
"Some people will think it's gross, others will be fascinated by it".
Well, gross or not, it IS a fascinating piece of tooth!

JP said he'd put it in his mouth and feel John with it. Eww! Well, i'd do that too.
& someone said they'd create dentures out of it. LOL! Darn, we missed out.
This tooth just WON'T GO AWAY!
You want some tooth? Well, I'm gonna give you some right now!

I know it's a dirty ol' tooth, but it's John's tooth & I would totally buy it if I could. I really wonder what it'll be like to have a John clone roaming around…will he really be the same guy? Hmm.
LOL I WANT TO SEE THE ORIGINAL PIC TOO! ALL I SEE IS A SHINY GIANT TOOTH FACED LENNON! HE SHOULD GET BACK WITH PAUL FOR A 40TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION FOR "A TOOTH AND A HORN" I MEAN "SNORE"!
Aww, that is a nice picture of John! :-)
I actually don't like the idea of a John clone! He already has 2 biological sons, isn't that enough? LOL, that probably isn't even scientifically possible yet... and it wouldn't be the same John anyways.
LOL, I would actually buy that tooth too... because basically ANYTHING that belonged to a Beatle, especially John (even if it's gross) would still be fascinating to me! And the ending price of that strange auction wasn't even as much as I expected it to end up at. I've seen similar auctions (a rock star's chewed up gum for $247,710.28! Which I think is even more disgusting & ridiculous! But at least the proceeds went to charity lol) and a lock of Elvis hair sold for $115,000.
So the dentist who won this got somewhat of a bargain. I just hope he isn't really serious about the cloning idea! LOL.
I am a bit skeptical as to if that tooth really is authentic though... before I purchased that, I would require some type of DNA proof to verify it really was John's other than just a story from a housekeeper's daughter! LOL.
Glad you like the Pic of John! :-)
